The movie - produced by HBO Films - will be a big-screen adaptation of a 2008 tell-all election book by the same name and will feature actors portraying key players in the race including Palin, Barack Obama and John McCain.
In an interview on Fox News's Hannity, the former Alaskan governor said: "I think I'll just grit my teeth and bear whatever comes with that movie."
However, she went on to joke that the project could create "job security" for the actors involved.
"Well, I am all about job creation, and I guess I could provide some of these gals who pretend they're me some job security," Palin said.
"I would ask, though, that - if they're of the mind of spreading the wealth around - that perhaps they want to spring for one of my kids' braces or something as they capitalise on pretending to be me."
Julianne Moore was announced for the role of Palin earlier this week.
