Jodie Foster has revealed that she sympathises with today's batch of young actors.
The double Oscar winner believes that stars are now "eaten up" by the media before getting the chance to prove themselves.
Describing her own generation, the 43-year-old is quoted by eecho.ie as saying, "You were able to build a body of work, so that by the time you turned 25 or 26 you actually had done something; you weren't just eaten up by the system."
