Farmiga takes directorial debut to festival

Farmiga, who has appeared in Up in the Air and The Departed, directed Higher Ground, an adaptation of the feminist memoir by Carolyn S Brigg. Farmiga also stars in the film.
The festival, which runs from April 20 to May 1 in New York City, will also see the premieres of thriller The Good Doctor, starring Orlando Bloom, and the comedy A Good Old Fashioned Orgy, starring Jason Sudeikis.
