Scenes for the new Spider-Man film will be shot in Cleveland rather than New York.
The Greater Cleveland Film Commission says offering free soundstage space made their bid more attractive. The filming, which will involve action shots, is expected to last around ten days.
Spider-Man 3 is set for release in mid-2007.
