Lucy Liu becomes 'Beautiful Asian Bride'

The idea has been stuck in production limbo after Jersey Films, home to creators Lee Firestein and P J Pesce, dissolved. It has now been taken on by Ron Howard's production partner Brian Grazer.
With Steven Gary Banks and Claudia Grazioso (Are We There Yet?) writing the script, the film will tell the story of a man who is wrongly accused of murder and therefore makes the logical decision of going undercover as a mail order bride to prove his innocence.
Liu will produce along with Grazer. No director has yet been attached.
