Freddie Krueger star directs 'Killer Pad'

Robert Englund will direct Killer Pad, a new comedy horror project from producers Avi Chesed and Wayne Rice (Dude, Where's My Car?).
Best known for his role of the dream haunting caretaker from the A Nightmare On Elm Street series, Englund will direct Shane McRae, Eric Jungman and Daniel Franzese in the project, reports Variety.
The film will focus on three friends who use the money from an insurance claim to leave their parents' houses and set up together in a pad in the Hollywood Hills, blissfully and predictably unaware of the house's ominous past.
