Robin Williams and Mandy Moore have been acquired to star in Warner Bros. Pictures' wedding comedy License to Wed.
Directed by Ken Kwapis, the story centres on a young couple whose plans to get married are complicated when the minister (Williams) of the bride's (Moore) family church insists that they take a two-week prenuptial course in order to be allowed to marry in his church. Failing the course, the would-be-groom fights to keep the girl.
Moore's love interest has not yet been signed, but John Krasinski (Jarhead) is apparently in early negotiations for the role.
Shooting will begin in May in Los Angeles and Mexico, states Variety.
