Victoria Justice lands first film role

Former Zoey 101 star Victoria Justice has landed her first major film role.

According to Celebrity Gossip, the actress beat out a number of other teen stars, including Chloe Moretz and Jane Levy, to win the lead role in Fun Size.

Justice will play a teenager who is forced to take her brother out to trick-or-treat one Halloween, but ends up losing him. Gossip Girl creator Josh Schwartz will make his directorial debut on the film.

Justice is currently starring as the lead on Nickelodeon's popular sitcom Victorious, a role in which she both sings as well as acts.

Justice recently admitted that she is in no rush to release her debut solo album, as she wants to get it right.

Paramount Pictures has yet to announce a release date for Fun Size, although filming is expected to begin soon.
