The movie, titled Star Whackers, will feature the Kingpin star "in three roles" and follow Quaid as he is tracked by assassins who "plot his demise and hunt him so to appropriate for themselves his value as a movie star".
The Quaids will debut Star Whackers at Vancouver's Rio Theatre on April 22 as part of a double bill with Randy's 2008 movie Real Time. The couple will then host a Q&A after the showing.
In a statement released to Canadian newspaper The Globe And Mail, Evi promised a "highly experimental [film] with nudity, adult language and content throughout".
"For the first time I would like an audience reaction to my art as a work in progress, so I may understand its content through other eyes," she said.
The Quaids were arrested in California in September 2010 on burglary charges but fled to Canada after posting bail. They were later taken into custody in Vancouver in October 2010, only to be allowed to stay in the country by immigration officials due to Evi's Canadian citizenship.
The pair told Canadian officials that they wanted protection from "star whackers" who they claimed were murdering celebrities.
Randy was recently granted permanent residency status and this month performed the song 'Star Whackers' with his backing band The Fugitives during a gig at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom.
