Gadon will play Pattinson's estranged wife in the upcoming David Cronenberg film, according to Deadline. Gadon has previously starred in the horror film Moth Diaries, as well as the ABC series Happy Town.
Pattinson joined the film in January. He will play the lead character in the adaptation of the Don De Lillo novel, which tells the story of a young billionaire's dangerous limo ride through New York City. The film takes place mostly inside the vehicle.
Cosmopolis also includes Paul Giamatti and Juliette Binoche. Marion Cotillard signed on to star, but had to exit the film after she became pregnant.
Howard Shore, who scored the Lord of the Rings trilogy and who frequently collaborates with Cronenberg, will write the score for the movie.
Pattinson is currently shooting The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. His next movie is Water For Elephants, starring Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz. It opens on April 22.
