Lily Collins cast as 'Snow White' lead

Collins announced the news at WonderCon this weekend, meaning that she will now join the previously-announced Armie Hammer and Julie Roberts on the currently-untitled project.
"Yes, I just got cast tonight," Coming Soon quotes Collins as saying.
The Social Network star Armie Hammer was recently cast as Prince Andrew Alcott, while Julia Roberts takes on the role of the evil queen.
It was recently reported that The Lovely Bones actress Saoirse Ronan was in talks to play the film's lead.
Collins is best known for starring opposite Sandra Bullock in the 2009 sports drama The Blind Side, and will make appearances in both Priest and Abduction later this year.
Singh's adaptation of Snow White is due to begin production in May for an expected release on June 29, 2012.
