'Ice Age 2' enjoys warm reception in US

In second place was the previous week's chart-topping Inside Man which earned $15.7m over the three-day period, a hefty drop from its $29.0m debut.
ATL was the weekend's highest new entry in third place, with fellow openers Slither and Basic Instinct 2 managing only eighth and tenth places respectively.
