Gurinder Chadha is in talks to direct the big screen adaptation of Dallas for 20th Century Fox and New Regency, reports Variety.
The Bend It Like Beckham helmer would fill the hole left by Robert Luketic (Monster-in-Law), who had second thoughts over the project due to creative issues.
Written by Robert Harling (The First Wives Club), the film will feature performances by Luke Wilson, John Travolta, Jennifer Lopez and Shirley MacLaine.
