Jay Baruchel boards 'Cosmopolis' cast

The Tropic Thunder actor joins Robert Pattinson, Samantha Morton, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, Mathieu Amalric and Sarah Gadon in the project, reports Deadline.
David Cronenberg is directing the film, based on the novel of the same name by author Don DeLillo.
Baruchel, who has reportedly gotten engaged to actress Alison Pill, will portray a shy company founder and friend to Pattinson's lead financial wiz character.
Cosmopolis is expected to open in 2012.
