Duncan Jones responds to 'Wolverine' rumours

Duncan Jones has revealed that he would consider directing The Wolverine if the circumstances were right on the 20th Century Fox blockbuster.

The Moon director, who has been linked to the superhero project following Darren Aronofsky's departure, told Digital Spy that his focus remains on making projects he has written himself.

Jones said of the Wolverine link: "It's lovely for that rumour to be spreading. I've been so busy doing the press for Source Code that I know there's a lot of meetings and people I have to catch up with when I get back to Los Angeles.

"Under the right conditions I would love to have the chance to do one of those big films, but I have a lot projects of my own. That's my main goal, to make the films that I write myself. I want to make sure that I set that as my priority."

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade has also been linked to the director's chair on the Hugh Jackman-led sequel.
