The Oscar nominee told Teen Vogue that the movie's cast, which includes James McAvoy and January Jones, bonded while the movie was in production.
"I had a blast. I was living in London for five months, and the whole cast [got on well]," Lawrence said. "We all legitimately love each other. We got addicted to hanging out."
Having followed up a critically-acclaimed turn in the independent film Winter's Bone with a role in X-Men: First Class as Mystique, Lawrence insists that she hopes to take on a wide variety of acting roles going forward.
"It's easy to get pigeonholed, so I think it's important that when one thing gets really big - it's a wise decision to do the opposite," she asserted.
X-Men: First Class is to be released on June 2 in the UK and on June 3 in the US.
