Olivia Thirlby, Rosemarie DeWitt and John Krasinski are in talks to star in the indie film Nobody Walks.

The movie is to be directed by You Won't Miss Me helmer Ry Russo-Young from her script co-written with Lena Dunham, The Wrap reports.

The drama centres on an artist whose arrival disturbs the domestic tranquility of a Los Angeles family home.

John Krasinski appears in the US version of The Office and Rosemarie DeWitt is known from United States of Tara.

Thirlby, who starred in the New York coming-of-age drama The Wackness, will also be seen in The Darkest Hour.

The sci-fi film's release has been pushed back to December following a series of delays including wildfires while on location in Russia.
