Thomas Mann joins 'Fun Size' cast

Thomas Mann is to star in the Halloween-based comedy Fun Size.

The film will see him playing the love interest to Victoria Justice, who will take on the role of a girl searching for her younger brother after he disappears while trick-or-treating.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, his character's lesbian parents name him after president's wife Eleanor Roosevelt.

Fun Size has been described as a cross between Superbad and the 1980s hit Adventures in Babysitting.

The project will mark the directorial debut of The OC and Gossip Girl producer Josh Schwartz.

Speaking to the site last year, writer Matt Werner said: "I grew up on John Hughes films and miss those great character-based comedies that make you feel something.

"Fun Size is about real characters who are smart, funny and a little bit offbeat."

Mann, 19, is also attached to The Hangover helmer Todd Phillips's Project X and Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.
