According to The Hollywood Reporter, Enos will play Brad Pitt's wife in the highly-anticipated adaptation of Max Brooks's novel. Set ten years after the outbreak of a zombie epidemic, World War Z is written in the format of an oral history, featuring a collection of stories in the form of first-person anecdotes.
The film will be directed by Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace, The Kite Runner).
Pitt signed on to star in the film last July. He will also produce the movie through his production company Plan B.
Enos currently stars in AMC's The Killing, where she plays homicide detective Sarah Linden. The actress recently revealed that she has not seen the original version of the AMC television show, the Danish series Forbrydelsen.
World War Z is scheduled for release in 2014. The Killing airs Sundays at 10/9c on AMC.
