Vera Farmiga signs up to 'Safe House'

Deadline reports that Source Code star will take on the role of Ryan Reynolds's overseer in the film, which will see Reynolds team up with Denzel Washington as a CIA operative and criminal on the run.
It will be directed by Easy Money helmer Daniel Espinosa.
According to the site, Sam Shepard, Robert Patrick and Liam Cunningham have also come on board for the project.
The actress recently made her directorial debut at the Tribeca film festival, with the adaptation of a feminist memoir by writer Carolyn S. Brigg.
