Mirren, Brand 'like Marmite and chocolate'

Helen Mirren has compared her screen partnership with Russell Brand to "Marmite and chocolate".

The Oscar-winning actress has appeared with Brand in The Tempest and the currently on-release Arthur remake.

She told Digital Spy of the pair's unlikely double-act: "Today I thought we're like Marmite and chocolate. I think Russell's probably Marmite and I'm probably chocolate.

"But Marmite and chocolate are actually really nice together… Fantastic. I think me and Russell are the new Marmite and chocolate."

Brand earlier praised Mirren for possessing a "beautiful work ethic".
