Kravitz stars as new X-Men recruit Angel Salvadore in the upcoming superhero epic, while Flemyng plays the villainous teleporter Azazel. However, the two actors have suggested that they may eventually end up fighting on the same team.
"She starts out on the good side with Professor X and Magneto, they recruit her to be an X-Man," Kravitz explained to MSN. "Then she switches to Sebastian Shaw's side to be in Hellfire.
"They're really fighting for the same thing, but it's different approaches for how to get there. I think she just believes that the aggressive side is the right side."
Fellow First Class star Flemyng also confirmed that Kravitz's character would defect at some point in the film, revealing that she will eventually choose to turn on her X-Men teammates.
"Kevin Bacon's got a team of freaky sidekicks, one of them being the fantastic January Jones, and one of them being the not so fantastic bright red Jason Flemyng, and also Alex Gonzalez who plays Riptide," Flemyng revealed. "And latterly we recruit Zoe Kravitz as well."
Rose Byrne, who plays the human character Moira McTaggert in Matthew Vaughn's prequel, recently admitted that most of the cast had signed on to potentially star in three X-Men films.
X-Men: First Class is due to be released in cinemas on June 3.
