Earlier this month, actress Helen McCrory, who plays Narcissa Malfoy in the films, claimed that several different endings had been filmed for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, but McCrory's co-star Felton says that this is not the case.
"Different endings is definitely an exaggeration," Felton told MTV News. "One of the beauties we had is that we stuck originally to the book and filmed everything."
Felton clarified that while director David Yates would have to pick and choose from various scenes when deciding on the film's ending, these changes would largely only result in stylistic differences.
"There will definitely be alterations," Felton explained. "Not necessarily alternate endings.
"I'm sorry to inform you that Draco doesn't win in the end and overpower Harry and get the girl! It just doesn't happen for him I'm afraid."
Following his final appearance in the Harry Potter series, Felton can be seen next opposite James Franco in the upcoming reboot Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is due to be released in cinemas on July 15.
