According to New York Magazine, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci and Lenny Kravitz have all been extended offers to star in the highly-anticipated adaptation of Suzanne Collins's dystopian novel.
Hailed as the next Twilight, The Hunger Games tells the story of a futuristic world in which children fight to the death in a televised competition known as the Hunger Games.
Should he choose to accept the role, Harrelson would reportedly play Head Gamemaker Seneca Crane. There is no word yet on who Tucci or Kravitz would play.
Elizabeth Banks recently joined the cast of the film as Effie Trinket. The movie also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.
John C. Reilly has been reportedly offered the role of Haymitch, though he has yet to accept.
The Hunger Games is scheduled to open in US and UK cinemas on March 23, 2012.
