Russell Crowe finds 'Tenderness'

Russell Crowe has signed up to star in Tenderness, a dramatic thriller based on the novel by Robert Cormier.
Directed by John Polson (Swimfan) from Emil Stern's script, the film will focus on violent teenager Eric and his relationship with a 16-year-old runaway. Crowe will take the role of Lieutenant Cristofuoro who is set the task of unravelling Eric's past.
Also on the horizon for the actor are Ridley Scott's American Gangster and Baz Luhrmann's untitled Australian period piece alongside Nicole Kidman.
