Sam Claflin 'lucky' to join 'Snow White'

It was announced earlier this week that the British actor, best known for his upcoming role in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, had joined Stewart and Charlize Theron in the film as Prince Charming.
"I'm very excited. I'm a big fan of [Stewart's] work," Claflin told MTV News. "I'm truly sort of flabbergasted - that's a good word, I love that.
"Being able to get my teeth into something new is something I'm really looking forward to."
However Claflin's Pirates of the Caribbean co-star Astrid Berges-Frisbey insisted that it is Stewart and Universal Pictures who are the fortunate ones.
"They are really lucky," Berges-Frisbey said. "Because Sam is such a good actor and such a good partner, he's really generous."
The film will follow an non-traditional take on the popular fairy tale, having the huntsman training Snow White to take on the evil queen together.
It was recently reported that Universal want Thor star Chris Hemsworth for the role of the huntsman, after both Hugh Jackman and Viggo Mortensen dropped out of the project.
Snow White and the Huntsman is currently scheduled for a winter 2012 release.
