The Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson-starring action sequel again holds off competition from Marvel's Thor to claim first place.
New releases Source Code and Something Borrowed push the top two close, generating more than $1 million in ticket sales each, but ultimately have to settle for third and fourth spot respectively.
Russell Brand's Arthur falls a place to number five, while Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil is a new entry at six.
Animated family movies Rio and Hop both experience sharp drops in business as they tumble down the chart to slots eight and nine.

1. (1) Fast & Furious 5 - $1,835,982
