Alongside the Tom Hooper-directed historical drama, the final instalments of the Harry Potter franchise topped the list of winners at tonight's ceremony.
Following its triumph at the Oscars, The King's Speech was awarded the 'Best Drama' honour and the 'Special Recognition' prize, while its lead Colin Firth took home 'Performance Of The Year'.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 beat fellow blockbusters The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Gulliver's Travels and Tron: Legacy to take home 'Best Fantasy'.
Its much-anticipated conclusion Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, which will mark the end of the wizard franchise on its release this year, was hailed as the 'Must See Movie Of The Summer'.
British actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost celebrated a win for extraterrestrial outing Paul, which secured the 'Best Comedy' gong over challengers Due Date, Little Fockers and Just Go With It, while Tangled won out over Gnomeo & Juliet, Megamind and Despicable Me for the 'Best Animation' title.
Jamie Campbell Bower, who has starred in The Twilight Saga and Harry Potter franchises, was tipped as the 'One To Watch: Brits Going Global' winner, beating off tough competition from the likes of Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield, Superman actor Henry Cavill, and Tom Hardy, winner of the 'Orange Rising Star Award' at this year's BAFTAs.
Finally, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides star Johnny Depp was honoured as a 'Screen Icon' for his contribution to film across three decades in the business.
