Oren Peli announces new horror project

The untitled project will focus on a group of friends who find themselves stranded in a strange town and confronted by malevolent forces of nature, according to Screen Daily.
The movie will be Peli's follow-up to Area 51, which is currently still in post-production.
His partner FilmNation, which is financing the project, said: "We are extremely excited about our new horror project, and while we can't disclose too many details about it, rest assured it will be scary as hell."
Peli's production Paranormal Activity 3 will be released in the UK in October 2011.
