Why should you watch 'Pirates of the Caribbean 4'?

When Digital Spy met producer Jerry Bruckheimer this week, he told us that Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides marks a brand new chapter in the story of Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp)... and fans can definitely expect to see some changes in the fourth instalment of the popular Disney franchise...

While we say goodbye to some characters (notably Will and Elizabeth), we're introduced to a group of new ones, including Penelope Cruz's feisty female pirate Angelica and Ian McShane's villainous Blackbeard; we meet new creatures in the form of mermaids; Rob Marshall takes over helming duties from Gore Verbinski; and for the first-time ever, the pirate world comes to life in 3D.

There's no doubting that scores of people will be flocking to the cinema for their latest Captain Jack fix on opening weekend, but for anyone who's not quite sure, we asked the cast why people should watch Pirates 4.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides opens in cinemas in the UK on May 18 and in the US on May 20.
