Chris Hemsworth closes deal for 'Snow White'

Deadline claims that Hemsworth has now closed a deal to portray the titular huntsman, after entering into negotiations with Universal last week.
The deal will see him star opposite Twilight actress Kristen Stewart, as well as the likes of Charlize Theron and Sam Claflin.
The film will offer an alternate take on the traditional fairy tale, in which the huntsman goes on the run with Snow White after disobeying an evil queen's orders to kill her.
Hemsworth's role will see him serve as a mentor to the young Snow White, and begin training her to fight back against Theron's queen.
Thor, which stars Hemsworth as the Marvel Comics superhero, is currently at the top of the US box office, and the actor has a number of other projects underway including Red Dawn, The Cabin in the Woods and The Avengers.
Snow White and the Huntsman is expected in UK and US cinemas on December 21, 2012.
