Hugh Bonneville for '20,000 Leagues' sequel

The Downton Abbey star will play Captain Nemo in the second film, who teams up with President Ulysses Grant to combat a menace at sea, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It has been described as a steampunk project, which means it could feature old versions of contemporary technology.
Horror director Pearry Teo is helming the 3D venture. He is best known for The Gene Generation and Necromentia.
Bonneville's best known features are Iris and the John Landis film Burke & Hare.
He will next be seen reprising his role as the Earl of Grantham in the second series of the ITV period drama Downton Abbey.
