The first posters for Steven Spielberg's upcoming adaptation of the comic book classic Tintin have been released.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn is due out later this year and has been adapted from classic tales by the character's creator Georges 'Hergé' Remi.
The motion-capture 3D film includes an expansive cast led by Jamie Bell as Tintin, as well as Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Cary Elwes.
Tintin has been directed by Spielberg himself from a script by Doctor Who scribe Steven Moffat, and later Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish.
The Hobbit helmer Peter Jackson has served as producer on the film and is due to direct the potential sequel.
The first trailer and footage from the film is expected to be released tomorrow.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn will launch in the UK on October 26 and in the US on December 23.
