Mortensen to work on Cronenberg film

Viggo Mortensen is to reunite with A History of Violence director David Cronenberg for new thriller Eastern Promises.
The script – written by Dirty Pretty Things author Steven Knight – sees a nurse fall into the grim world of the Russian criminal underworld.
Mortensen's mysterious character emerges through links to the gangs.
