Sarah Jessica Parker, star of TV series Sex and the City has landed a new role in a Hollywood thriller.
Vacancy will tell the story of a couple whose young son has recently died. The pair check into a motel room, which has been fitted with hidden cameras without their knowledge, Variety reports.
In a sinister twist, it turns out the couple have fallen into an operation making a snuff film - a film allegedly depicting real murder.
The role marks a dramatic change of direction for the star, who has recently starred in romantic comedies such as The Family Stone and Failure to Launch.
