Colin Hanks for Seth Rogen's 'Mother's Curse'

Colin Hanks has been cast in a supporting role opposite Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand in the road movie My Mother's Curse.

The film stars Rogen as a young inventor who invites his overbearing mother, played by Streisand, on a road trip to try to sell one of his inventions.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hanks has been cast as the husband of Rogen's childhood sweetheart. The couple take the family duo in after they get caught in an unexpected blizzard.

The Proposal director Anne Fletcher is helming the project for Paramount and Skydance Productions, from a script by Dan Fogelman.

Hanks recently signed on to star as a regular on the new season of Showtime drama Dexter as a potential villain.

My Mother's Curse began filming last week for an expected release on March 30, 2012.
