Emma Stone 'excited by Andrew Garfield Spider-Man'

Emma Stone has revealed that she finds it exciting to see Andrew Garfield in his Spider-Man suit.

The 22-year-old, who plays Gwen Stacy in the highly-anticipated reboot, spoke to MTV News about what it was like to see Garfield in the Spider-Man suit.

"He looks like Spider-Man, ya know?" Stone said. "It's pretty exciting."

The young actress was joined in the interview by her The Help co-star Bryce Dallas Howard. The Terminator Salvation star also praised Garfield's Spider-Man look.

"I saw Andrew in a leaked photo," Howard said. "And he looked really good."

It was reported in April that a redhead was being sought for The Amazing Spider-Man, presumably to play the role of Mary Jane Watson. The high-profile character, previously played by Kirsten Dunst, was notably absent earlier in the production process.

In another departure from the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films, The Amazing Spider-Man will feature mechanical web shooters instead of organic ones, in keeping with the comic-book story.

The Amazing Spider-Man opens in cinemas on July 3, 2012.
