'Skin I Live In' gets Somerset House premiere

Pedro Almodóvar's The Skin I Live In has been announced as the opening movie of this year's Film4 Summer Screen event at Somerset House.

The film, which stars Elena Anaya and Antonio Banderas, will get its UK premiere at the outdoor London venue on Wednesday, July 27, Metro reports. It will be introduced by Anaya.

Almodóvar said: "I'm thrilled that The Skin I Live In will receive its UK premiere as the opening night film at Somerset House this year.

"It is a beautiful event and a privilege to be able to screen my film to an audience under the stars."

• Saturday August 6 - Gremlins / Troll Hunter / Tremors (Triple Bill)
• Sunday August 7 - The Princess Bride

Tickets go on general release on June 9 and are available on pre-sale to American Express cardholders now.
