J.J. Abrams: 'Leonard Nimoy is in Super 8'

J.J. Abrams has revealed that actor Leonard Nimoy appears in Super 8.

In an interview with Collider, Abrams stated that there are a number of hidden features in the highly secretive movie, including the Star Trek actor.

"Leonard Nimoy is in the movie somewhere if you can find him," Abrams said.

The director went on to speak about the Star Trek sequel, asserting that it is his priority.

"We're working really hard to get that movie made as soon as possible, but we don't want to rush anything," said Abrams. "The worst thing we could possibly do would be to put something into production to make a release date instead of a great movie."

Abrams made an appearance at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards last night to premiere a clip from Super 8. He was joined by Steven Spielberg, Elle Fanning and Joel Courtney.

Super 8 will open in cinemas in the US on June 10 and in the UK on August 5.
