The Race to Witch Mountain actor, who played Luke Hobbs in the film, spoke to Access Hollywood about the possibility of a sequel, claiming that he is certain the writers are already at work.
"I'm sure they're getting ready to start writing away," Johnson said. "The best part about the success of Fast Five is the fact of how much the fans love it."
Johnson went on to reveal that he has one condition if he is to return for a sequel.
"Well, it all depends… on how much ass I could kick in that movie," Johnson said.
The wrestler reinvigorated the Fast & Furious movies when he joined the franchise for the fifth instalment.
Johnson is rumoured to be joining the cast of G.I. Joe 2 to play a character named Roadblock.
The actor was the recent victim of a death hoax when a report indicated that Johnson had died in an on-set accident in New Zealand.
