Jesse Eisenberg, Jake Gyllenhaal in 'Now You See Me'?

Jesse Eisenberg is in negotiations to star in magic-based thriller Now You See Me.

Director Louis Leterrier's film centres on a team of internationally-renowned magicians who use their act to rob people, before the FBI starts trying to catch them.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Melanie Laurent have been approached for the two leads, while Jim Carrey, Colin Firth and Sacha Baron Cohen have also been eyed for roles, Variety reports.

Social Network star Eisenberg will be shooting Woody Allen's Rome-set Bop Decameron before starting work on drama Predisposed.

Eisenberg will further make his Off-Broadway debut with his new play Asuncion later this year.

Leterrier, who directed Clash of the Titans, is also attached to the disaster movie A Different Gravity.
