Diego Luna joins Matt Damon in sci-fi drama 'Elysium'

The actor is up for the role of Matt Damon's character's best friend in the sci-fi drama, Variety reports.
Blomkamp has already confirmed that the follow-up to allegory parable District 9 will star Sharlto Copley, Matt Damon, Jodie Foster and William Fichtner.
Elysium's script reportedly centres on a battle between aliens and humans over Earth.
Foster has admitted that she is not allowed to keep the script at home in case it is stolen.
Luna also starred in Milk, Frida and Yu Tu Mama Tambien.
