Adam Scott cast in 'My Mother's Curse'

Parks and Recreation star Adam Scott has reportedly been cast in Anne Fletcher's new road movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scott has signed up for an unknown role opposite its stars Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand.

My Mother's Curse will star Rogen as a young inventor who invites his overbearing mother, played by Streisand, on a road trip across the US to sell one of his new inventions and to reunite her with a lost love.

The film, scripted by Fred Claus writer Dan Fogelman, also features Colin Hanks and Yvonne Strahovski in supporting roles.

Scott is best known for his role as Ben Wyatt on the NBC comedy Parks and Recreation, but has also starred in films including Step Brothers and The Vicious Kind.

My Mother's Curse is currently filming, and is expected to reach cinemas on March 30, 2012.
