The actress told Metro that the open-shirt moment gets across what new mothers go through to avoid having to wake up for nighttime feeds.
George said: "I came up with the idea for that scene where she wears the back-pack pumping system for breast milk while she's doing the housework.
"We were all laughing and the guys on set couldn't believe it. I was like, 'Are you kidding? This is what women have to do'."
She added: "Mandy Moore said I was nuts for doing it. We got the machine from New York, where they're pretty popular. If you've got to pump so you get a night's sleep, that's what you have to do."
George previously said that the comedy is "pretty raunchy" and that her co-star Moore "went out on a limb" in the film.
Swinging with the Finkels also features Pineapple Dance Studios star Louie Spence.
