Ian McShane to play 'Snow White' dwarf

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor, famed for his role as a rogue antiques dealer in Lovejoy, will join Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin in the cast of Universal's fantasy adventure.
Snow White and the Huntsman will see Stewart's Snow White escape the clutches of her evil stepmother (Theron) with the help of a huntsman (Hemsworth) who was originally sent to kill her.
Rupert Sanders is directing the blockbuster, which opens in cinemas on June 1, 2012 after the March debuts of Tarsem Singh's rival project The Brothers Grimm: Snow White with Julia Roberts and Lily Collins.
Snow White and the Huntsman will begin production in August.
McShane was recently cast as King Brahmwell in Bryan Singer's Jack the Giant Killer.
