The British model won the role of Sam Witwicky's (Shia LaBeouf's) love interest Carly Miller when Megan Fox departed the franchise after an alleged falling out with Bay last year.
Huntington-Whiteley, who appeared in a Bay-directed Victoria's Secret commercial, told Digital Spy that she has never had any problems working with the filmmaker.
"I worked with Michael in 2009, we've got along from the beginning and we've had a lot of fun making this movie," she said.
"It's a lot of hard work shooting a film like this, and he expects people to bring their A-game to work. You can ask him whether I did or not, I hope so."
