Thousands of Scientologists have been buying tickets to see Tom Cruise's new film Mission: Impossible III.
The Arclight Cinema near the Hollywood Scientology centre confirmed an unusual trend in purchasing, reporting that "people have been buying dozens of tickets at a time."
The followers of Cruise - a famous Scientologist - are thought to be merely excited to see the new film, rather than engaging in a deliberate ploy to boost box office figures.
