Love's Kitchen has been mauled by the critics on its release and currently has a score of 8% on Rotten Tomatoes and 4.6/10 on IMDb.
The film, which stars Dougray Scott as an an up-and-coming London chef alongside ex-EastEnders star Michelle Ryan, had a site average of only £24 across each of its five screens, The Guardian reports.
By contrast, the weekend's biggest opening was Bridesmaids, which took £3.44 million, including previews of £1.03m.
Uma Thurman's Motherhood made just £88 at the British box office for its three-day release ahead of its DVD launch in March 2010.
Critically-derided Danny Dyer vehicle Pimp attracted just 24 moviegoers and took £205 during its opening UK weekend in May 2010.
