Vince Vaughn joins new Ben Stiller comedy 'Neighbourhood Watch'

Vince Vaughn has signed up to appear in sci-fi comedy Neighbourhood Watch, it has been reported.

Vaughn will join Ben Stiller, who joined the comedy last month, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film follows a slick city-dweller who moves to the suburbs and discovers a large neighbourhood watch conspiracy.

The script has seen rewrites from Superbad's Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. It will be directed by Hot Rod's Akiva Schaffer.

Will Ferrell was previously linked to the leading role before it was taken by Stiller.

Vaughn is also attached to another comedy, The Insane Laws, and gambling movie Lay the Favourite.
