Palicki joins Channing Tatum, Ray Park and Lee Byung-hun, all of whom are reprising their roles from the original film.
RZA and D.J. Cotrona signed on to star in the film earlier this week. They will play a martial arts master and the G.I. Joe soldier Flint respectively.
Bruce Willis is reportedly wanted for the part of original G.I. Joe solider Joe Colton.
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson joined the movie in early June to play a character named Roadblock.
G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes is scheduled to open in theatres on August 10, 2012.
